Installing Business or Enterprise License

Having purchased or changed a Business/Enterprise license, please check your inbox. If you haven’t received the license email, please contact support@spectx.com.

Adding License to a New SpectX Installation

During the installation process, when prompted to activate SpectX, pick “I already have a license” and copy-paste the license from the email.

Upgrading from Personal to Business or Enterprise License

In SpectX, click on the top-right User-button > About > Change License. Copy-paste the license from the email. Business and Enterprise licenses enable remote access and authentication. This feature is not available in the Desktop edition. If you wish to make use of this feature, please download and install SpectX Server edition and add the license there.

Upgrading a Business or Enterprise License

If you have modified your SpectX Business subscription to include more or less features and performance, SpectX with internet access will update the license automatically.

If your SpectX installation has no internet connection, click on the top-right User-button > About > Change License. Copy-paste the license from the email.

In SpectX Server edition, you can also save the license.lic file attached to the email to SPECTX_HOME directory.
