SpectX can access the source data stored in various different environments and locations. The access is implemented by a number of data access protocols used by LIST and PARSE query input commands.

Many of these protocols require different parameters to be set (such as access credentials, etc). See the configuration details of each protocol below.

Data stores can be configured through the Web-based User Interface or directly manipulating .sxds files in SpectX home filesystem.

Addressing the data in SpectX is implemented using Data Access URI.


SpectX can also read and write back to relational databases (see JDBC_QUERY) as well as Elasticsearch (reading and writing).
