SpectX allows storing parsed data just like tables in a relational database. Selecting data from stored table works faster as parsing is not needed.

To use a stored table as a data-source, place the path to the stored table (in the Resource Tree) between square brackets prefixed by ‘@’ character.


Use Save/Result menu to save a result of a query.

Example: save results of following query as /user/stored_data.sxt:

dual(10) | filter (i%2 = 0) | select(time:t, ipaddr:ip, string:s);

Next, execute the following query (in the new query tab):


You should see the following output:

time ipaddr string
2019-10-30 11:21:13.144 +0000 0ho0
