saveΒΆ

save command stores the resultset as table permanently in SpectX.

save( table_name, overwrite )
where:
  • table_name - string with the name of stored resultset (enclosed in single or double quotes). Must have *.sxt extension appended.
  • overwrite - boolean value enabling/disabling overwriting an existing resultset with the same table_name. Optional. The default value is false.

On successful execution save command outputs:

  • store_path - name and path of the saved file
  • rows - total count of records saved
  • bytes - the size of the saved resultset
  • field_count - count of fields in the resultset

Note

You can select data from saved table (i.e use it as data source) in any query scripts.

Example:

1
2
3
dual(10)
| select(i)
| save('/user/my_ten_cents.sxt', true);
